WHAT A START TO YOUR FOOTBALL EXPERIANCE, HIGHFIELD GRANGE RANGERS UNDER 7’S WIN THE LEAGUE IN THEIR FIRST SEASON

This has been Highfield Grange Rangers under 7’s first season as a team following their development through the Highfield Grange Football Club academy along with 2 other Highfield under 7’s teams who have also both had a great first season. What a start for Rangers as they have won the league at Wigan Mini league soccer under 8’s, Robin Park. This is a very competitive league even at this young age and Rangers have taken the top position with great results across the board.

Team Coach, Tony Fairhurst, said of the team: “It has been an exciting first season and the team have come on great and I am very proud of the lads, but to win the league in their first season is a great achievement and is down to the lads effort”.

Highfield Grange Rangers are part of the Highfield Grange Football Club that has 23 teams ranging from academy through to open age. The club is one of only a few chartered standard clubs in the Wigan area, which is a level 2 charter standard club and has a proud tradition of developing talent and its association with the Football Association (F.A.).
