Directions

Come off at Junction 26 M6 North signposted "Skelmersdale / Southport" then as you access the slip road you follow signs for "Wigan A577" As you come up the spur road from the Motorway you will turn Right towards Wigan on the A577. After approx 300yds on your right, you will approach Abraham Guest High School, Orrell Rd, Orrell, Wigan, WN5 8HN Continuing passed the school you will slightly bear left on the road where you will TURN your FIRST RIGHT into BANKES AVE where you will immediately park your vehicles on this road (i.e. Bankes Ave) Once you have parked your vehicles you will make your way back up to the main road where you have just come from and you will TURN LEFT back up road where you have just turned Right and you will see a RED POST BOX on the other side of the road. The pitch is accessible on foot down a dirt track that is signposted by a "Public Footpath" at the side of the Red Post Box which goes down the side of a GREY WALL. Continue to walk down this track & you will come to some old sheds and a set of gates (that should be open!) that gives you access onto the pitch.
