ABOUT THE CLUB
 

We are Winners of the Lancashire County & North West Region FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year Award for 2008.

Based in Highfield, Wigan WN3, we are one of the biggest Junior Clubs in our area.

In 2007, we celebrated having 25 years of the Clubs existence.

We currently have this season (2009/10) a total of 20 teams ranging from the Under 6's (Academy) up to Open Age teams, where we have over 300 players registered and over 30 officials and coaches.

THE CLUBS MISSION STATEMENT : �Playing before winning�

�To promote and provide a means and environment to enable players from our community of all abilities and ages to progress in organised football, from early year�s right through to open age teams�.

�To endeavour to provide good quality coaches and managers by investing in training, so to bring out the best in our players and enable a culture of good sportsmanship, fair play and comradeship to develop towards our competitors�

We are always looking for players to join the club at all abilitys & ages from the current Reception years at school (U6's) up to & incl the U16's & Open Age teams age groups"

Should you wish to make contact as a player or an official then please email the Club Secretary, Gary Pennington at garypennington@sky.com with a brief message, together with the players DOB and current school year and we will either forward your details onto the relevant team Managers or the Managers can contact you direct.

Please note that Adult volunteers are always welcome to join our club with a view to managing / coaching a new team or helping with a team already playing. The Club will give the Full support toward the cost of the necessary training & coaching courses. Please ask for further details
